“Parabase” is a series of three colored pencil drawings that bring together images from a personal collection, assembled without any apparent connection. This arrangement compels the viewer to establish links, to reconstruct a fragmented narrative. The title refers to the concept of “parabasis” in literature—a break in the narrative that directly addresses the audience—while also resonating with Deleuze’s notion of the rhizome: a network without a center, where each element connects freely to others. These compositions invite a non-linear reading, in which interpretation remains constantly in flux.

« Parabase » est une série de trois dessins au crayon de couleur qui associent des images issues d’une collection personnelle, assemblées sans lien apparent. Ce jeu d’agencements oblige le regard à tisser des connexions, à recomposer un récit fragmenté. Le titre fait écho à la notion de « parabase » en littérature, une rupture dans la narration qui interpelle directement le spectateur, tout en résonnant avec l’idée de rhizome développée par Deleuze : un réseau sans centre, où chaque élément se connecte librement aux autres. Ces compositions invitent à une lecture non linéaire, où l’interprétation reste toujours en mouvement
